Telegram(m) 22 – Gryon, Schweiz / Switzerland – 4×4 Camper

Anderthalb Tage verbrachten wir im schönen Schweizer Gryon auf einer Höhe von ca. 1000m und bei tollem Wetter. Liebe Freunde hatten uns eingeladen und wir konnten den 4x4camper direkt auf der Wiese vor deren authentischem Chalet parken. Von dort aus hatte man einen herrlichen Blick auf das Rhonetal und die dahinter liegenden Gipfel. Wenn man nicht gerade das Wohnmobil nimmt, lässt sich Gryon auch mit der technisch beeindruckenden Zahnradbahn Bex-Villars erreichen. Ein Ausflug zum botanischen Garten “Jardin alpin de Pont de Nant ‘La Thomasia'” rundete den Aufenthalt ab. Gryon verfügt auch über einen kleinen Wohnmobilstellplatz mit Ver- und Entsorgungsstation.

We spent 1.5 days in the nice Swiss village of Gryon at about 1000m of altitude and with best weather. Dear friends had invited us and allowed us to park the 4x4camper on their lawn right in front of their authentic chalet. From there we had a magnificent view to the Rhone valley and the mountains and summits on the other side. If not taking the camper for a change, you can also reach Gryon by a technically impressive cog railway, Bex-Villars. An excursion to the botanical garden “Jardin alpin de Pont de Nant ‘La Thomasia'” was another highlight of the stay. Gryon also has a small camper parking with fresh and waste water facilities.
