Eigentlich wollten wir nur eine Nacht in der Nähe des Mont Blanc übernächten. Die Schönheit dieses Ortes ließ uns jedoch eine zweite Nacht anhängen. Bei traumhaftem Wetter genossen wir den Blick auf die noch schneebedeckten Berge, die frische Luft und das beruhigende Plätschern des durch den Platz fließenden Baches. Der Campingplatz “Les Dômes des Miages” liegt auf ca. 900m Höhe im Süden der Ortschaft Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.
According to our plan we were supposed to stay only one night in the vicinity of the Mont Blanc. The beauty of this location though made us stay one night more. With the luck of great weather, we enjoyed the view to the still snow-covered mountain tops, the fresh air and the soothing ripple of the creek crossing the site. The camping site “Les Dômes des Miages” is located at an altitude of about 900m in the south of the town Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.
Noch ein Tip: Nur wenige Kilometer vom Platz entfernt befindet sich das Restaurant “Le Four” , in dem wir ein Abendessen mit traditionellen dranzösisch-schweizer Gerichten genossen haben. Dank des großzügigen Parkplatzes ist das Restaurant auch mit dem Wohnmobil gut zu erreichen.
A small hint: Just a few kilometers from the camp site, you can find the restaurant “Le Four” , where we enjoyed a dinner with traditional french-swiss meals. Thanks to the large parking, the restaurant is also easily reachable by camper.
